Storm AXS Code Master Series keypads convert codes entered via the keypad into industry standard (Weigand) data. Suitable for use as a replacement for, or in conjunction with, most standard card readers.
It is essential to provide free access to AUTHORIZED personnel while securing premises against those who are not. The issuing of duplicate door keys is no longer a viable option for many companies as it is deemed high risk and high cost/maintenance. Keys are routinely lost, stolen or damaged and require replacement. If a breach in security is suspected or an employee leaves the company locks need to be changed and new keys issued, making this practice impractical, slow and expensive.
The solution is the fitting of a secure, efficient and cost effective Storm AXS Code Master keypad to your door. Authorized personnel can be allocated a PIN, which triggers an electrically operated strike or lock, allowing access through a normally locked door or barrier. PINS can be easily and regularly changed to maintain system security or withdrawn at any time.
PIN holders can be given access to selected areas while barred from others for added levels of security. PIN codes can be programmed to unlock a door and leave it unlocked (latched) until the code is re-entered or until a pre-set amount of time has passed allowing just one person to enter before the door re-locks.
Storm AXS Code Master Keypads are constructed to withstand hard use and abuse in both indoor and outdoor applications. They are available in 3 levels of toughness: “general service”, “rugged” and “vandal resistant” models, complying with current and forthcoming mandatory standards. They include sophisticated electronic controllers. These controllers are securely housed within the keypad casing. They keypad includes high level protection against static discharge damage.

Another version of this series is Storm AXS Strike Master. These keypads provide all the same benefits of the AXS series but includes an electrical sensor that detects any attempt to remove or destroy the keypad.
